A big thanks to everyone!

I just wanted to get on here and thank everyone especially the Kams and Kelvin for the advice and input I've been able to get from this site over the past 2 years. We went live with our site and have made the step from small garage operation to commercial venture. We couldn't have done it without yo...

I am working on a 186 right now maybe with a bamboo core but am not totally sure. They will be twinned but only slightly (think Bro Model). I really want a ski that will blast through anything so I'm leaning towards a stiffer ski but not too heavy. I'm in Utah and am trying to make something that wi...

What's your ideal ski length?

I'm thinking about designing a ski for small production but can't decide on a length. It will be a big mountain/powder ski.

I'm 6'1" 185lbs and usually ski a 190ish but they won't necessarily be for me. What do you guys suggest for a good "selling" length?

Polycarb?

Has anyone had any experience with polycarb for a topsheet? Or does anyone know if it can be used? I really like the finish and look of it but i'm not sure if it would bond very well. I talked to some plastics guys that said it has its own special glue but would probably bond with epoxy. It just see...

Just got home from the fire department logistics office and they were friendly enough to donate about 35 ft. of hose. I called and said I only needed about 8-9 ft and when I got there they handed me a huge roll. I might have to make another press. Thanks for the tip Hoseman. So far I have most of th...

I have been doing some prelim searches for a hose but have not had any success. Does anyone, especially hoseman, have any suggestions and/or extra hose that they are willing to part with?

I probably won't have any welding access. So as for now I'm planning on bolting everything.

I've been following this site and learning from everyones ideas for several months now and have finally begun my building process. I found some scrap i-beams today and was hoping to find some help or ideas on how I should build my press. I've been watching hosemans progress and I might follow a simi...
