Endre How's it going? Thanks again for showing me your project - I'll have to start vacuum bagging this summer. Did you find those inserts yet? I've got a pretty productive thread going over on t-talk with two guys who've experimented with tele turns on their AT skis/dynafits. Just out of curisosity...

way way ot - crazy idea for dynafit telemark bindings

three crazy ideas - anyone tried using scarpa f1 boots and just the dynafit toe pieces to telemark? I'd guess that if you used the Ti nose piece you'd possibly have the lightest tele setup with plastic boots ever What about grinding the bill off tele boots and screwing fabricated inserts/drilling ho...

The ski's were last years scratch fs and bending didn't seem to harm the top sheet. The skis didn't seem to be a cap construction, i.e., not like a salomon 1080 ski, but I've never seen the innards of a rossignol ski. If anyone's got an old pair that they feel like cutting up to see how the tips are...

Kelvin It's always going to be a bit of a compromise but at least most tele bindings come with a riser plate. I'd suggest set the tracks up to accomodate your favourite alpine bindings (if there is such a thing) and then make cutting board risers for your telebindings. If you make the risers larger ...

thin - probably not a problem if they're stamped stainless steel rather than aluminium. You could probably have emachineshop make up some then hacksaw/dremel the slots in either side for flex pattern. insert distance/track pattern - I thought these were the same? That is, the inserts are fixed by sl...

Broz You got it in one. I got an e-mail address for her at hotmail but so far no reply. I'm pretty sure she'd make more money selling inserts at a premium to individual amateur ski/board makers than just waiting for a licensing deal where she has to give them away by the thousand. Especially if Foru...

one idea is to use edges as the track serrate edges on the lower side to prevent inserts slipping http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/markhr/channel/channel.jpg mounting the edges so that they don't compress into the channel on pressing or rip out on mounting might prove to be too much of a chall...
