Paulownia sources in the us

Hey Everyone! I'm trynna make some touring skis, and I'm looking for some Paulownia. I've tried calling a bunch of wood distributors around the pnw, but everyone that used to sell paulownia seems to no longer carry it.

Anyone have a good plug for touring ski materials?

Re: Design

I'm assuming you're meaning .2", .7" and .2"? that would translate to 5, 17.8, 5 mm. That seems really thick, most skis are in the realm of 2-3mm tip and tail, and 10-12mm underfoot. I'm by no means an expert, but a tool that I found really helpful was the Sooth Ski comparison tool. T...

Source for Bcomp Bi-axial Fabric

Reaching out to Bcomp directly, the North America Distributor is Renew Biotech, but they charge a 5m² minimum, and want $100 to ship. Does anyone know a differ...

Tip and Tail Fill for Rockered Skis

Hi Everyone! I'm trying to design my first pair of skis, and I've got a couple questions. I'm trying to make a superfat powder ski with more of a modern geometry, and am curious about how tip/tail fill applies in this context. My inspiration here is the Heritage Lab C132 or the Praxis protest. My sk...
