My dad stumbled across a still while building a house (he's a real estate investor) and the guy who ran it or whatever gave him like a gallon of the stuff.

...we ended up using it in our alcohol powered drag car.

Worked like a charm!

seems like you could just make your cores a hair bigger, so the edge "stuck out" past the rest of the materials just a bit farther to be able to tune them to a bit more of an angle. ...or just route your boards with a more aggressive angle to them so you'd have more room to play with when ...

you do pose some interesting points.

I like the concept of the laminate construction thing, mainly because it means that my design for a chambered-esque core will not have as much of a detrimental effect on strength as I had originally thought.

yeah, the 156/154 thing was me being retarded and not thinking.

I usually ride a 156, but this one's going to be a 154.

I'll see what I can find as far as sidewalls are concerned.

what plans are you using?

I was considered going ahead and building one, but I need it to be with a 6ft. workable area for it to be of any use to me, and was wondering how you guys modified whatever plans you had to do such a thing.
