Ok, thanks, that´s what I´ve checking Oac´s threads for a long time thinking about the possibility of building a vacuum setup like his and having some more possibilities than now with neumatic press.
I´ll check them again to see heaters specs.
Thanks.

Buying heaters from omega.co.uk, any suggestions?

I´m thinking about buying a couple of heaters from http://www.omega.co.uk/ like many of the european guys around here have already done.
Would be allright to know specs, and prices of yours before making a decission.
Oh..! Any malfunction issue with omega heaters?

Thanks a lot.

I have also skied on the BBR for a couple of days, quite fun at low speed but I didn´t like them at high speed on hard pack.
The pair I tested had to be planned because the bases were really very very concave.

Si todo va bien y por fin doy el gran salto haré un gran gran pedido esta primavera. Desde luego, si no te quieres ra...

What about a wood veneer as thick as edge teeth routed to fit inside them?
No need to glue it to the core, just put it in place during the lay up. It also helps on tips when using full wrap edges.

I have already built a pair of GS skis using 3 layers of 720gr triax glass under core and three above. I also added two carbon ud tapes under and other two above. I used a very hard oak core, not too thick. I think that using a hard wood makes the difference in this kind of skis. They were room temp...
