vacuum bag + heat blanket

Im going to be using a vac bag to press my skis, but as of now I dont have a heat source planned. has anybody used a heat blanket or any other setup with vac bag. also what is the price range for heat blankets?

im want my skis to be nice and snappy in the running length, so my mold will have around 25 to 30 mm of camber. I guess iI will just add the same amount of extra height to the rockered section? I dont want it to end up looking my my tips and tail are sticking straight up but at the same time i dont ...

rockered mold design

So my ski design has rockered tips and tails for about 25 cm in lentgh. I am guessing that for my mold I need to encorperate more reverse camber than I actually want the ski to have? I am thinking about a 3 or 4 cms of total rise along the 25 cm( not including tip radii), so should the mold have aro...

I didn't personally but I watched someone lay up a snowboard that way, it worked out pretty well in a vacuum bag. the only problem was one or two small bubbles that got trapped in the top sheet, but he was able to fix them by using "watered" down epoxy in a needle syringe.

graphics on composites?

if I was wanting to put my graphics directly on my composites layers (fiberglass, aramid etc.) what type of paint or dye ect. should I use? I am worries about the paint preventing the composite from getting completely wetted out during lay-up?

4windsbamboo has some nice verticle laminated planks you should check there website out. I just ordered two, should get here this week.
