Nice work Ben_mtl! What bindings are you using? Something like Jester/Griffon Schizo which has a bit of margin for dialing in the standing position?

As you say, it sounds expensive. A roll of 50m Stockvik “silvertejp” (duct tape in Swedish) will cost you 100SEK/~$14 at Claes Olsson or Jula. Shopvac’s press was 40cm wide. Let’s assume that it was perfectly round, which it wasn’t. That would make the circumference of ~1,25 meter. A roll of duct ta...

I see from the pictures that you found the Flintstone skis: Zai Hublot All Black. ;) I wish I didn't have to take these damm exams this week so I also could go to ISPO.

Cool spoofs of the cover to Guns n Roses Appetite for destruction cd on the Nitro Pro Modles.

Easiest way would be to scan it and then Trace it in Adobe Illutrator with for example Live Trace:
Live Trace is not 100% accurate in its tracing dough.

If you look at Hublots watches they are mostly made of unconventional materials like ceramic, tantalum and tungsten. I don’t know the E-Modulus of gneiss but the skis are most likely just a big showoff for Hublot and another p***s enlarge for people with too much money. I was more interested if anyo...
