Long over due update

Progression of our builds since my last post in 2012 We built a camber/rocker jig that allows us to modify for our different lengths and shapes. Seems to work really well, can line up 2 sets of identical skis and they match camber and rocker. http://i1043.photobucket.com/albums/b435/Frontierskis/201...

We do our rabbiting before we profile the core using an old skate board wheel as our guide for rabbiting our edge's. Works perfectly, just drew a straight line on the router table as a guide to follow. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-_MjqlFcXjUw/TxeTbg93gLI/AAAAAAAAFrM/uQbjXIwWKzY/s400/P1070052.J...

Awesome! Cant believe you got to ski with Glen in Chamonix, a True skiing legend. I was able to watch "Blizzard of Aahs" with him during a movie night at the Theater in Chamonix. But I would have given anything to ski with him!
P.S wicked job on the Trip Report.

something that can cycle on and off, as once it pulls vacuum and you begin to develop a minor leak the pump wont have enough power to start up again. Will expand the life of your pump and allows you to leave and come back hours later, but you will want to build something like this. Works just like a...

joewoodworker.com has everything you need to know, However be prepared if you do build a solid vacuum pump that its not cheap. Mine is continues duty and all said and done with a rebuilt pump cost was around $600. Its worth the money, you dont want to come across vacuum trouble during layup..... it ...

Love the idea of having your planner built into the table space, makes for tapering cores alot easier I am sure... our process is a two man job right now... but i may be adapting this method shortly. Keep up the good work on the shop, its a great feeling when it starts to come together.

We have been running with no VDS for the last few pairs of big powder skis, we have had no issues, but if you follow any of the big ski company layup videos they always use it... so to error on the safe side i would use it if you got it.... i just dont have any.
