Speaking of kevlar, I am looking for a good supplier. I havent come across one yet for carbon fiber either. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Top Sheet Dimpling
Has anyone experienced this on their skis? Just lately I am getting dimples on the topsheet. Very isolated and are in the same place so I am guessing it might be my heat blanket. I cook my skis at 165 degrees and nothing really special.
Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Matt

So has anybody looked into business insurance or what you need to get going? I will have my skis in the local ski shop here in Glenwood Springs, CO this winter and am wondering what (if any) insurance I am going to need. Also has anyone been fighting the fact that they are building out of their gara...

I might be interested in picking that press up from you. I come from that neck of the woods an my sister could possibly grab it from you but would have to figure out scheduling as I am in Colorado. My sons name is actually Bridger. Gotta love that range, I miss MT.

Hey there, I am looking to pick up the same model but am trying to figure out what is a fair price. Do you mind telling me what you paid for it? The one I am looking at is pretty rough with no edge grinder or autofeed. What do you think it would be worth and would you buy this machine again if you c...

QCM Epoxy
Okay, So it has been a while, has anyone heard any new as to the future of our beloved epoxy supplier? Any news on the "New" company? I sure hope the QCM stuff will be available soon, I don't really feel like experimenting with new stuff. On that subject, has anyone been experimenting with...

Top Sheet
There have already been a couple folks interested so I am hoping we can get a group together to get an order going. Also it may be a min. of 2500m but not so sure. I wish there was a US based supplier.
I will keep you all updated and if there is enough interest we can pull the trigger.

Anyone want to go in on some top sheet?
Trying to get into sublimating my graphics and I need to get PBT top sheet instead of the UHMW from Crown I have been using. The problem is there is a minimum order from Isosport that I can't swing by myself. Please let me know if you want to go in on a minimum order and we can figure out specifics.

Topsheet
I too am looking for a supplier for different topsheet material. I am currently using Crown but is too soft and peels. I would rather see chipping. Can anyone point me in the direction of PBT or Nylon?
Thanks,
Matt

Graphic
Have you determined a cost for the sublimation process? I have looked into it and it just seems too much for me at least at this point. Anyway, keep me updated on your dye sub process as I am super excited to one day get there.

Graphics
In my experience, if you use any kind of a paper or ink that produces a shine or a gloss other than the matte finish, you will have bonding issues. Another example is when my friend wanted to use tissue paper for a colored graphic and we had to redo the topsheet due to NO bonding at all. I am about ...

Graphic
I use paper too and works awesome. The only complaint I have is that there sometimes are white spots on the graphic. They seem to go away when I use a lot of epoxy but you mentioned that you use very little. Do you coat the bottom of your topsheet with epoxy before laying it up? That is the only iss...

Thanks guys for the heads up on this stuff. I am hesitant to jump in to quick as these blankets are expensive so I appreciate the input. I have limited electronic experience but am a licensed A&P so I have some basic all around knowledge. I also have a good friend who is an electrician so I am g...
