Just remember to protect the coolant from any sawdust. That will turn your coolant nasty fast. design of this machine similar to edge sander for woo...

I have the problems with snocad's printout templates. Print same PDF file three times today and every time dimensions slightly different from what it should be. One template 20--30mm shorter and T/W/T approximately 10 mm narrower . Second template overall length 175 instead of 170 T/W/T also slightl...

IMO variable speed very important especially if you going to run large diameter bits. You can go two ways buy router with VS or buy speed controller separately, $20 in HF

Last week unexpectedly he called ....and I got the machine. Unfortunately price was bit higher from two years ago but small...

at first, couple months ago, I planned to go same way as you do. Currently decided to go little different direction. don't have final results because it's not complete yet. He's in my idea: each rail built from three components 1 plates on the bottom which bolted to the table 2 template of the shape...

I understand this is commercial posting tread. Don't want to be price police TGR style BUT.... The price you're asking kind of high considering you selling to fellows ski builders. SDW selling 1.4 edges about $13 pair or $130 for 10 pairs equals yours 10 pounds. only $20 difference? " Where's t...

Aluminium acts as a heat sink. Steel conducts the heat. In the absence of the right insulation, it must get quite hot. Personally, I like to keep the hose as cool as possible. why not to add insulation? okay regular fiberglass will not work, that's understandable. in this case several layers of thi...

I was going to ask about using G-flex on gluing sidewall and edges.
Looks like good product for the job. Why not use it?
As far price. It a little bit more money compared to gorilla glue but definitely cheaper per Oz compare to loctite superglue

I'm building router bridge too. My rail made from 1 1/4"x 1/4" steel and have some flex imo it have to be at least 3/8 thick or supported every 6 to 8 inches. collar with allen wrench interesting idea but I think locking screw will ruin thread on the bolt. My thoughts were to use shims and...

One thing I'm a little bummed about, in general... I started doing inserts in my skis last year, so I could swap bindings around. Great! I'm using these old-ish Look Pivots/Rossignol Axials, which I love. Except that I don't have brakes wide enough for my skis, even the skinnier skis. I've been usi...
