My shop is not normally heated and when started that exactly reason (problem you have) I went with heat blankets and heated table. His skis end up slightly softer compared to want he tried I'll try cork/rubber sheet just above the base in one of my other carbon skis soon. I'll be interesting...

Also, depends how much amperage each blanket draw I suggest run dedicated line to each blanket About temperature controller and TC I don't see nee...

Re: Festool HEPA Cleanup
HEPA vacuum as suggested absolutely waste of money for this kind of job. Cyclone dust collector is a way to go. I would say at least 1.5 hp. I'm using 2 hp dust collector with cyclone attachment. If flash cutting done inside the shop which many people do outside dust collector alone is not enough yo...

Re: Jonrezz’s Build Log
Are you using heat blankets only on one side? Sure way to get surprise camber or reverse camber.
On your temperature controller. Research "line voltage thermostat" 110v or 220v simple and effective plug-and-play some of them included thermocouple. I've been using one of those for years

Re: First Board!
Nicely done! On mixing epoxy: mix as much as you want at the beginning, then divide it into multiple cups. You'll end up with the epoxy you need during layup without having to go back and keep mixing more. Standard red plastic party cups work great for this. you want to say that already mix epoxy i...
