Not familiar with your epoxy but if it's typically a room temp cure resin then I would guess it's the 60* temp cure that is causing the problems. Crystalization of the epoxy or out gassing of a not dry enough core lots of possibilities, Also keep in mind that although vacuum pressing is an acceptabl...

I would try the thin fiberglass layer between the two hard sheets, I would also flip over The top sheet and lay it up separate with the thin fiberglass on it and then flip it over and place it on the wetted out veneer. Also try sealing your veneer if it's dry, lot of problems out here with veneers t...

Depends on how much maple if it's just stingers at the insert I'd say 7mm at the thickest , if your pressing you get a stronger laminate if bagging it will end up overall thicker but weaker probably softer feel, what's your top sheet ?if none make your core a bit thicker, wood veneer top sheets ad s...

Looked at your resin low viscosity and a long time to gel is very similar circumstances to a cold cure, this is how it looks to me your fiberglass reinforcement outside the ski is saturated and even puddled, your resin has a viscosity of 700cps at room temp now heat it up to 60*c and my guess it is ...

Hairspray to seal a core is totally doable just need to find the right one just an example of people thinking outside the box , with a cold cure that soak time makes all the difference in the world find a way to limit epoxy obsortion into any substrate and you will make a lighter better laminated pr...

Sometimes if it's a cold cure and your core is dry, the extra Time it takes for the epoxy to cure is enough time for the dry core to soak up extra resin and create a dry laminate, the lightest laminates can be archived by sealing the core prior to layup I've even heard of model aircraft builders use...

You are using mass epoxy with a fast hardener and then putting it in a hot press, I'd say you boiled it off it's gone crystallized and gassed off ,cut it open and see, I would press cold the only add heat after its gelled to finish the cure and reduce the press time, these marine resins work at room ...

You will need to router a narrower base you can do this by cutting one side of your template then shift it sideways being care ful to keep it aligned say 6 mm that will give 3 mm per side you now have a narrow base depending on how much overlap you have the tips might be ok but you could do the same...
