Renewable Materials

Hi All, So I am nearing the end of my college career, and plan on starting on my ski building after I have a real job. In the meantime I want to start a thread about sustainable/renewable materials. I'll be posting an article of sorts on my findings about renewable materials this semester, and also ...

I was wondering who you got to do the printing or if you did it in house? Was it expensive? I would be looking to order about 5 custom bases, all ...

Hi Iggy,
I was wondering if you fabricated that whole press yourself, or had someone do the frame for you? It is Impressive!

Bamboo and Aspen Core Thickness for Park Ski and Rockered Sk

So I am in the process of designing two skis, and it seems that two of my favorite companies, ON3P and Moment, use bamboo or aspen cores; I would like to make a hybrid bamoboo aspen core, and could use some help. First is this a good idea?, or am I just gung-ho trying to combine two good things like...
