Base and edge material for sale

I have two rolls of base material I'd like to sell. One is clear and the other is maroon. $1/ft +actual shipping cost. I'm not sure how much I have but can measure if anyone is interested. Probably 20 something feet of maroon and 40 something feet of clear. I also have a few sets of edges. I am in D...

I just wanted to say that I want to someday do a ski run where I have to climb a ladder first. Sweet shots, beautiful local.

yeah I think I mounted more forward that most of you would prefer for your ride. To be honest, I didn't give it much thought. I just plopped the bindings down and made sure they were even from one ski to the next. Come to think of it. The only time I used a ruler during the whole production was when...

That is exactly why I tried this... I had no topsheet but had plenty of epoxy. I wanted to save $20.

I should probably add that the top sheets may absorb an amount of moisture but there is so much epoxy and material that the care will be unaffected. This has yet to really be tested. Also, I need to sand off some excess epoxy that show up as shiny spots in the pics.

I helped promote the chicago premier so I had the highest expectations for it. In addition to that, I had my first homebuilds that I had finished at the end of summer waiting to be skied so no season held as much anticipation as this. I downloaded tons of skiing movies from totalvids.com (check it o...

ski building regrets... nope

So the last couple of days I have been getting kinda of bummed out. You see, I have been biking and running along the wonderful lakefront path in Chicago and looking out at all the boats. Last summer I was extremely close to buying a stand up jetski (parents live on a lake in michigan and then there...

podcast

I subscribe to the make magazine podcast (free). It has some really interesting stuff but some of the electronic/electrical stuff goes over my head. The guy hosting the poscast is a real dork but it just makes it more fun. The one i watched last night gave directions for turning an old computer mous...

I just thought of something I did in high school to strengthen my lower legs and prevent injury during cross country. I took a piece of plywood and cut it into an octagon about 2' wide and then cut a hole in the center than probably half the area or so of the cross section of a baseball. You put the...

Since i have nothing better to do than study, eat, study, sleep, study, work, study... i wok out at our subpar university gym. I usually warm up on the treadmill and/or bike then do weights. Chest and back one day, arms and shoulders another, then legs a third... repeat. I tried to do some core trai...

170 seems ideal for a flatlander mid-western skier like me. I like 170 in the park but i think i will alter my press to a length of 175 since I will be spending a greater proportion of my skiing time out west. I also prefer a slalom turn to a GS turn and carving as apposed to skidding so that keeps ...

I used one for my first pair... i used no rails. I basically drew the shape on the side of the ski and planed down until i reached the lines i drew. Did it work good? not really but it was good enough for what i had. It takes a TON of time. Since you are eye-balling it you have to go real slow and s...
