that was one of my questions as well... those are the units Pro/Mecanica lists the Ex and Ey be input as... I just assume that's PSI, this could be the issue maybe?

looks a LOT like my press, which I am getting very close to testing. I will post when I do it and we'll see if any big problem arrise.

origanally I had more bolts in the design, and all the holes are drilled for them, but I loose 3 inches of ski length if I do it, making the max length of the skis around a 178 or so. I guess that's fine and it will make the total bolts around 16 on each side ( a couple of the bolts can't go through...

how serious of a problem do you forsee this being? are we talking the press blowing apart?

I was thinking about adding some clamps of some sort on it while testing it, do you think that would be a good solution to the problem as well?

is there any set formula as to what the dimensions should be for a ski? I have seen some around before, but I don't know if they are legit or not. I'm gonna be designing my first skis soon though!

I just set it to print to 'banner' paper. It didn't work at first, but after some playing around with it I got it to work perfectly.
