Can you give me some feedback MontuckyMadman? I currently using West System right now and it is little stiff. Is the 100/1000 more soft? How long do yo cure it for?

Entropy Resins

I email the guy at entropy and they recommend that I use the 100/1000 system that they have for room temp cure. Has anyone uses this system yet?

Core Question

My last snowboard I use all poplar wood. I have read around this forum that it not a good idea to use poplar wood to hold the binding inserts. Im' thinking of mixture of poplar and maple wood for this snowboard and putting the maple wood where the binding insert is. Have anyone use done this before ...

My friend have the proto CT from NeverSummer and it have rocker between the feet and camber from binding to tip, I have try them and they really have great hold in the snow.

I been following this forum reading and learning for over a year and finally decided to build my first board. I put some Hot glue under the core and around the perimeter . It definitely stick on really good. Had a hard time getting it off under the core that why I heat it up to make it easier

Thank everyone for the Reply. I have some rust on the edge. So I would have to sand some down. Another Question : I use Hot Glue to keep my core down while using planer to profile. after I use the Hair dryer to soften up the glue to take off. but there still some sticky left. How do you complete cle...

Cleaning and roughing Edge before glue to the base

Does anyone roughen up the edge and clean it up with denature alcohol to help with the bonding? I saw a video from boardcrafter that he roughen the edge and clean with denature alchohol.
