It is local manufacturer. But he is a bit unlegal/underground, so we can`t tell you more about him. However we`ll post video and more details when the machine is in action.

It has no flats in the base. I'd be worried it would spin when tightened. You could always grind two flats but that would get old fast. I just spoke with the producer. They can grind 2 sides of the base in order to avoid any possible spinning inside the boards. Is it ok like this? http://s8.postimg...

S.S. Inserts........

It is really hard to find any quality inserts all over this continent (Europe) :D Yesterday, we suddenly found an inserts producer locally. Just got a sample piece. http://s28.postimg.org/7cmqtilu5/IMG_20141113_200705.jpg http://s2.postimg.org/v1p7fvp55/IMG_20141113_200544.jpg http://s17.postimg.org...

Thanks for the advice. We will keep the things simple. Will go on with full length 100% poplar cores.

Wood blend

Hey guys, we bought some raw poplar trees last year. We did not find somebody willing to dry our wood in his kiln, so we built one in our yard :D http://s4.postimg.org/siabsg0e5/IMG_20140706_165646.jpg http://s22.postimg.org/pur1ek31t/IMG_20140727_161011.jpg The lumber was drying for the entire summ...

Sublimation press - heat barrier

Preparing for the next season, we are building new pneumatic press for sublimation. The heating system is 4 kW. It reaches 200 C degrees for about 30 minutes. The aluminium sheet is 8 mm. Everything looks great but we can`t find proper material for heat insulation. We tested the press with MDF board...
