I'm on 1/2 of one pair, or One full 1/2 pair of skis depending on how you look at it. I'm just building one ski for now for practice and have the materials ready to go for a full pair all except for the vacuum pump. Full core, pre-bent tips tails on pine with bamboo sidewalls for the test. Hopefully...

I'm going to try to use my leftover vertically laminated bamboo flooring from my house project for my first set of skis. Good luck with cutting the laminated boards. I have a weak table saw and no planer too, so it'll be slow going.

Hi, First post here. I like the idea of a second layer of metal on the top of the sidewall for more protetction, but don't plan on being that ambitious when I do get to my first build. My current skis ( Blizzard Titan Atlas ) have a layer of metal like that as well, and it seems to help a lot. Not s...
