As Head Monkey said Haberkorn in Austria is the source. No problems to order small quantities. Last time I ordered, minimum order of 2,5cm wide VDS was around 300 meter and 70 meter for 34 cm wide. Cost; approximately €30/ per 100m for the 2,5cm wide and €430/100m of the 34cm.

I think a 500 pound spool would be approximately 4500 meters. $425 a pound sounds way too expensive. Think last time I asked it was about €700 per 100kg her in Europe. So 4.25 a pound is more realistic.

Any thoughts on when in February this should take place? Not impossible that this could be a happening that would give me the possibility to get tax deduction for the trip to Canada, therefore be a good alternative to my planed skiing in Switzerland.

I am using Duraclear top sheet with good results and screen printing on Duraclear is supposed to work. I have actually experimented with this just the last couple of days. I have been advised that it should work with the ordinary transparent water soluble paper ink of good quality, that I have been ...

I finally got some time over to work on some skis and thereby also bring home some pictures of the crib with thin plastic sheets I now use, instead of the one adjusted by bolts. I find this design working really well with much better confidence in the measures compared with the bolt version. The pic...

I don’t think they have a webpage for the Swedish division. They sell material produced by Gurit so pretty much everything except edges and rubber. It is possible to by small quanta (approximately 10meters or more) of there standard materials. Do remember though that in addition to the price you get...

what brand is that planer that u using, it looks like a "clas olsson". is it good? It is a Clas Olsson planer and it's working fine. Not the most powerful planer but no problems with it so far. A more powerful and expensive planer would however most probably make the profiling even faster...

I’ve used the epoxy from Nils Malmgren for two pars of skies and so far it has worked great. Rumours say it is the same epoxy that is used in Hendryx’s skies. Not the cheapest epoxy though.

I have made a profiler inspired by Endre that is fully adjustable. Made one where I could adjust the profile by adjusting bolts lifting some cross bars that have worked fine. However due to the hazel of adjusting all of the screws accurately I have now made one where I adjust the height by inserting...
