Are you guys having success printing from snocad? I haven't messed with it for a year or so & at that time I couldn't print full scale from SnoCad.

Could a couple of you please post the work flow you use for prining?

Thanks!

When mounting a few pair of skis yesterday we compaired the factory mounting points between a few pair of skis. The measurement we took was a simple percentage of length infront of the factory mounting line. The skis had from 53%-58% of their length ahead of the mounting line. The skis were Volkl Go...

You pretty much have to have the sidewalls on. Otherwise how will you mill the sidewall materal to matsh the core profile? I guess you could beltsand it, but I imagine that would be rather imprecise.

polyurethane wood finish. Something with a UV protectant would be a bonus. Widely available at building materials stores i.e. home depot-lowes

Davide took the words (post) right out of my mouth. I was goingt to recomend wood stringers, Just two. Right down the insert line. Composite stringers would be cool though. You could rip the core into 4-6 pieces like Davide's image shows & laminate it back together with glass & epoxy. Thanks...

don't be afraid of the 24oz glass either. Stiffness is just a balance of core thickness & composite layers. If you can easily get the 24oz glass then get it & make your core thinner to compensate. It will all work out fine. We used 22oz glass in the first pair of skis & a 10mm --> 2mm co...

Titebond 3 is a killer woodglue that i have had great luck with in cores. As far as rivets go, I really dont think it will help prevent delamination. K2 loves them because they look badass, they dont help anything structural (if anything decrease). think about it: Seth Morrison...badass...piercings...

Re: under armor shrits.

Most of the companies who supply t-shirts & sweatshirts & stuff to screen printers also have a performance thermal layer like the UA products. I'll look into the cost just so y'all have something to compare. -J

I think I'd approach the project generally the same as for DH skis. The only thing I might consider doin is either sweating the core & molding the camber into the ski, or you could make the ski super thick and then mill the camber into the core. I've been considering milling the camber into the ...

I really like what you've got started with the Random (e) logo. The line drawing of the teleskier w/ skibuilder text. If you could make the skier a little more obviously tele it would be my new favorite shirt! I really like all of the "skis Tshirt designs" as well New list in order of pref...
