I bought the grinder. The ski press is still for sale. The seller is having issues logging back into his user account as he updated his email address and the site blocked him out until an admin gives him permission. He can't see private messages either. If you are interested in the press please emai...

Does anyone still have the hack for banner printing on the Epson 1400? The link in the dahmer photography is now dead and I'm hoping someone here may have the file saved somewhere. I'm thinking of purchasing the printer for veneer printing but don't want to waste the money if I cant print with a use...

Thanks MR. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on for the last two days. I ran some calculations and 1800 watts should be much more than I need as long as I don't have too much heat sink in surrounding materials. I am also meeting with an Elec. Eng. friend sometime in the next few days t...

First of all, I'm an electrical idiot. I took some courses in college and walked away more confused than I was at the beginning of them. So this all intimidates me a fair bit. But I want to set my press up properly and that means putting heat in it. I'm trying to run some calcs on what watt blanket ...

Durasurf Base

Here is a cross post from TGR gearswap in case anyone is interested. Four rolls, 100 meters each, 1.32 mm red base. I said I would cross post for the OP. I might be interested in a roll if I can figure out logistics for shipping. Anyone else want in on this???? Or can anyone in Vancouver, BC assist?...

Stevens on occasion, mostly only on weekdays when it storms. We all mostly ski at Mission Ridge, it's Wenatchee's little gem. If you ever make it back in this area we will have to show you around. There are a lot of great touring options around here too!

I am a sucker for 'import' beer. We are in Wenatchee, WA....not too far from the great white north.

COOP Ski Works

First off, I want to throw a huge thanks to this site and all of you builders who post on here. This pipe dream of making our own skis would be nothing but that if it wasn't for all of you. This whole idea to build our own skis was born while slogging in the skintrack this past spring, we thought th...

Call me a meat head, but I've found it easiest to slap on some leather gloves and bend by hand. Bend, check, bend some more, bleed a little, and bend some more. I found our modified tool to kink the edge so I gave up on it.

I'm following this because we have been using it with good luck for 'tacking' tip/tail spacers on prior to layup. We are using a small piece to hold it in place within the extents of the ski perimeter. Are others doing this to? I'm sure I read at some point about this but I can't find it at the mome...

Have you profiled any cores yet with this setup? This looks like a fairly simplistic, straight forward design and I'm curious as to how it's working.
