Re: Extra Biax in Tip Area for increased torsional stiffness?
You can use a different biax front and rear with overlap under the bindings. Will give you a smoother flex/torsion curve then changing somewhere in the flex zone

Re: Sublimation warping
Ooops...I got some new ideas! :D Things that I have not foreseen in my sublimation process, The cooling down aspect/press! Always something! ;) ;) I just wonder about the temperatures they do. Isosport told me also a high value like that, but on my tries i managed to melt the paper into the materia...

Re: Sublimation warping
Fighting the snake The idea of 2 cool down presses is neat, when you do more topsheets in a queue one press gets too hot after a while. Or you add active cooling (air or water)

Re: Flaxfiber sidewall/ sidecut
Anyways, vacuum doesnt create optimal pressure for flax. You either need to be very careful with the amount of resin you use (exactly the right amount) or you should press it with 5bar in a pneumatic press. This is what Bcomp was saying afair.

Re: Location of the boot center using the exact center of the ski
Think they refer to relative position to the recommended/marked binding center.
What Tim is saying could be right from shapers view, but a normal tester cannot determinate exactly where sidecut center is (visually).

You can put a self adhesive protection foil on it. Your skiman could also start with 80 or 60 grid

Re: Trimming edgeless snowboard tail/nose
You dont cut your base to the final shape before laminating?
Otherwise you just use your base as template to cut and trim, freehand

Soak the top with epoxy, then sand it. Should be more uniform (depending how hot you press)

Re: Increase in camber of the ski after getting out of the press.
i add to Chrismp post: You need to calibrate both your pids with a proper setup, put a old ski/board inside the press and run the calibration. Main reason is the asymetric heat sink of a press and its molds. E.g. on bottom you have just the mold, on top you have the cattrack which reacts completely ...

Re: Increase in camber of the ski after getting out of the press.
You stay with one process (hot or cold cure) and dial in your workflow and molds (more or less pre camber). You need to do the same heat & cool down process (including time of pull) every time for heated systems.
