I'm very impressed. For First pair they came out extremely well. Hope they ski well, and your wife is happy with them. And I agree, the Pacman graphics look great!

I have just started on 2 new boards.. Need to get them finished as Christmas preasents for my boys! Aaaaah I need a Kick in the Bum to get into it. At the same time I am building a new Sidecut jig so I can cut my Base and cores without needing a Template. (I don't have room / $$ for a CNC). And now ...

Very nice, I see you had fun with the graphics. Great idea! Love the shape, and the tails look sexy.

Did the powder skis and managed to get the first coat of high gloss on them.. With the powder skis I again had a bit of a problem with getting the topsheet exactly straight. Cores are Perfect this time- I'll perfect that in the future. Here is the pressing, showing the nice rocker in the skis. https...

Some of the worlds best inventions were results of mistakes! ;-)
But I can't add anything constructive about raised edges, other than it will be easy to initiate turns, and on the powder will be a blast. Just carve it everywhere and it suould be fine.

Ok, first pair out of the press a few minutes ago.. Quite happy with them. One tip spacer looks like it wasn't sitting perfectly. Not to worry, it won't affect the ski performance.

HB (Hansen Boards) 2018

I haven't got nearly as much board building done this year. Mainly due to being laid of here in Munich, and now having new work in Basel Switzerland. I'm enjoying the new work, but with the travel don't have as much free time as I used to. Anyway, to my current builds. Last year I built some wide an...

I'd be in for a meetup. Has to wait a couple of weeks though as I have just started building 2 sets of skis. A powder and a Touring ski.

I agree and disagree with you. I use the schizo bindings too, as I am never exactly sure what the ideal binding placement point on my home made skis is, so I like the flexibility of being able to adjust the bindings. However I find it takes quite a large movement of a couple of CM or so before I rea...

I like the look of that vertically laminated beach. I saw that at Hagebau too. Didn't think of using it as a ski core. Anyone else have experience with it?
And the skis look pretty awesome too!
