Yes,

I thought about that. The press will stay in my hobby room. No big temperature differences.

I also thought of making the concrete with fiberglass mats. Such as textile concrete. Maybe putting some steal beams inside is another solution

concrete press idea

So, I've been searching for a less expensive alternative for a hydraulic press. I thought of concrete.

What do you mean, is it strong enough?

Sorry all dimensions are in cm

Its easy, cheap, save and you even don't have to saw. The best, you can adjust everything!

On tuesday im going to press my Board. Small question about the finishing. What kind of saw blade do you use?...

Small update: I built an adjustable rail for the routerbridge. So I can easily adjust the high of the final core. five drive-in-nuts, some washers an five screws, and thats it. Easy as ingenious! http://www.pic-upload.de/thumb/09.06.07/7hynjq.jpg Heres a detail-pic http://www.pic-upload.de/thumb/09....

It was time to buy a compressor. The tests with the footpump were not so good. Lets test the Press with 72 psi /5 Bar. Connect the tube and ran out of the garage. Power on! No matter what happens! http://www.pic-upload.de/thumb/01.06.07/t24pzv.jpg almost done! http://www.pic-upload.de/thumb/01.06.07...
