You could take anywhere from a couple of weekends to a month of Sundays depending on how well you plan and how many coffe breaks you take. No, but I'd like to figure out how to. I guess you could do a traditional layup on the bottom and infuse the top. The tail block worked great by the way. the transition is totaly smooth. Are you planning on using a see-through top sheet? Maybe change your plan if so. Smooth out the gouge with a sander, glue and clamp some veneers in the divot, then re-profile your core. 1 to 12 is the magic number for a scarf joint.
