U must consider. CUring at temprature prevents a resin poor lminate. At room temp you can press too much of the reain out leving a dry composite that is stiff but brittle nd prone to delam.

Left a clamp on the bckside of the press and pressed a spoon style rise into the sidewall of the ski. Very dramatic. Almost like a step. Pressed it again to get about 90%of it out. Laid up some fullcarbon skis and forgot half the composite on the other side of town. Had to run home mid layup. Multip...

This is dumb. Put the positioning outside the ski core. You dont want a.holes in the core. b.foreign material ie.metal, staples such c.even easier to put it outaide the ski.

9 oz in a uni carbon in a 12k is super stiff. Weird you wiuld need that above and below unless the ski is super narrow, like 70mm underfoot. I think maybe you are iust overgrinding. Have you done a few 100 grit passes to get the epoxy off then send then to a shop to do final grind, bevel and stone? ...

Perhaps your tc position is off? I would do the tests again with all your al in there. Are you cooling slightly before pulling? We pull at 150f-160f.
We had flatness issues when pulling at 180-170f.
