That cellphone case might be a nice gift for x-mas. Do you have pictures of it?

An okay. I didn't think about the peelply because I used "Lochfolie" in my last veneer longboard.

That looks cool, much better than my first ski.
What kind of texture is visible on the veneer? Is it the Triax pressed through?

I tested my coreprofiler with a piece of plywood because I thought I would be able to see any problems better since the different layers spread out like a physical map after the core is profiled. Worked nice. I read the datasheets of the bcomp cores. Thats why I stick to ash for this season. Before ...

One other thing about the plywood: I didn't trust in its ability to hold the bindingscrews so used inserts. To get them in the right place with the right depth with my basic tools needs a lot of patience and time. So now I prefer spending more money on ash and saving by not using inserts. Makes a be...

I used birch multiplex in my first pair of skis. When profiling I saw to or three knots in the inner layers. The ski was a bit on the soft side, so the next pair got ash cores from skibaumarkt with the same profile. The layup was the same as well but the performance was much better.

I am using my coreprofiler only once in a while since I build only two or three pairs of ski a year. A few of you guys will say this is botch but I have good results with double faced adhesive tape. So it looks like this: Core parceltape double sided adhesive parceltape coreprofiler Since the double...

Hi rsotak, I made my last ski without topsheet. I just coated the triax glass with an aditional layer of epoxy. The result were two things I didn´t like at all: little pinholes in the coating. Maybe these can be prevented with an aditional layer of thin glass. And the glass chips of in little pieces...

It is too much wind and in the upper parts too clouds. The loser parts are too wer, there are many avalanches just down too the ground.

I think it's tme for an update. My first ski performer better than I thought even though it was a bit soft in groomers. The next pair had a few updates. 1. better template 2. core made from ash instead of birch 3. a few strips oft carbon 4. Instead of topsheet I used peelply and coated the ski with ...
