Wouldn't it make more sense to machine your camber board offset for a boot centre in a traditional sort of place, ~55%? then you won't have to offset all your skis. Yes this makes sense. Maybe I'm over thinking this. But depending on the length of the ski, that 55% would vary. So as long as you mar...

Okay, so lets say I build a pair of skis for "More" at 193cm because he got taller... i would need a mold that is 193cm+180mm for the extra mounting backing on my tip and tail molds+the offset he wants to push his boot center back: say 9cm (this would push the front running length of the s...

super curious about exactly what this product is?? if you check this vid out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Il7iuy7MLk 2:23 you can see the little roll of tape they are using. it has to be some sort of porous masking tape that runs most of the sidewall length. it seems they always leave the tips l...

dont really understand your question about angle iron vs your 2 hoses. If you're talking about the fact that you have 16" of hose and 16" of iron, and are worried the hose will get pinched/cut from the angle iron... remember your hose is 8" when flat... no? the entire hose will not b...

Okay new update. Time to cut the Cat track. I made a form that attached to my chop saw so that I cut each cat track at 15 7/8". this eliminated measuring them every time and made cutting go so much faster. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c26/Skimann20/IMG_1222.jpg and to the guy on Skibuilder...
