Thanks so much for doing this experiment for us.

If your could really rough it up with a hammer, rock, etc..... and see if very large impacts might cause it to fracture when cold that would be super!

Amidnightprject, Thanks for the reply.

Seems like its a worthy investment for the price. Can you speak at all to the software you received with the unit?

@ dbabicwa The PU on both those boards is very nicely done! Impressive. The boards are also very beautiful! Great work and thanks for sharing. Can you please clarify. You said that the Red PU shown in the pictures is actually white 310 with red dye. The link you posted however (http://www.smooth-on....

Your not "that guy" to me, I appreciate the response. I guess I should have been more clear. Its the overall shape of the ski with the reverse side cut, small tips and convex bottom together that I find impressive. I have never seen a pair that looked so much like a canoe! On the GaryWayne...

Saw these yesterday. Wow! I love how different they are from everything else out there. I myself have been working on 3D contoured bases for the past few years and am glad to see other people are also on that bandwagon. Looks like he is using veneers as his core like a skateboard with no sidewall. Y...

Those are some nice looking Longboards!

I build longboards too, but just maple veneers no fiberglass.

I like the built in riser pads. What kind of press are you using?
Top and Bottom moulds to get those shapes?

YES Snowboards, built by Nidecker have a new sweet Asymmetrical board. The brain child of JP Solberg. http://www.yesnowboard.com/products/boards/the-asym/ Also I have seen many Asymmetrical Snowboards specifically made for Snow Kiting , as you spend much more time on your heel side edge then toe side.

Beautiful Skis! I watched your shop video last night. Do you have any more info on your vacuum bag system on here? I did a search and did find much. Specifically I am wondering what the top stretchy layer is made of. Thanks!

Beginner Google SketchUp Snowboard Design Tutorial

I had a bit of time free today and I wanted to give back to the community on here so I thought I would throw together a little tutorial for newer folks looking to design some boards digitally in 3D. Considering that you can get into a Mogul CNC machine so affordably, board/ski building has never bee...
