Well im doing snowboards, maby the extra width allows for more of an error.

pressing with heat, cat-tracked at 75psi with two bladders. sidewall is 1/2 wide including whats going to be cut off, with aprox 5/16 of that flush with the edge or inward

If you don't rabbit your sidewall. The person who does your base-grinds will come to you and complain about how it took 200 pass's on the robot to clean up, and how he missed warren miller working for you, and then expect dinner and beer...

Sometimes it was hard for me to tell though because the more I tried to worked the epoxy around it went from clear to white....Has anybody else seen this? We use the same combo of QCM products. From the best i can tell when it turns white during layup, its the epoxy going off for whatever reason. O...

as for unspooling the edge, we stood around it last night stairing at it.. dreading breaking it up. We have a few idea's. biggest worry is not having enough tension on it and it unspooling its self....

FYI, anyone hopping to buy some sidewall drops, only have a few left, grey and white.

one of the machines that are involved with the manufacturing is down, for possibly 5 more weeks.. if you need some better buy while there are some left

I wouldn't want to go much larger as far as tolerances is concerned. Are you making a router bridge or planer crib?
