About how much should I pay for I beams?

I'm penny scratching on building a press and I am wondering how much people paid for their I beams. I thought some people might have a good way to get them cheap.

Would it be a lot cheaper to use wood instead?

New to the site. Hey everyone!!!

I'm starting the process... Building a press. I've taken some time to do a lot of reading here. I'll be making snowboards and I hope longboards too. I'm looking forward to helping as much in the future as I will be taking over the summer. Thanks everyone!
