Well, sort of. Bob Boice (cadman on here) did prototype work for 4frnt on vashion before the press got moved to slc.

hey ig, why does your press design have such a gigantic opening top to bottom? Seems like your bottom mold is huge. Is that a strength thing for over time or what? Originally we were going to build a press that had a sliding mold track a la burton so that loading the skis was super easy. I didn't h...

Some companies prebend edges, others don't. I personally find we get MUCH better results from not prebending them. If there is any kink or anything at all in a prebent, it can easily translate to a finished product. Other companies don't have issues with prebending though.....so definitely multiple ...

Iggy's method of cnc'd planer crib and a good planer is a popular method amongst small/medium factories, even ones who have their own cnc machine! CNC'ed out of 1.25" MDF. Grip tape, hot glue, few other things to keep chatter and snipe from not being an issue.

You do need to be careful, don't want to drop them or anything. But some of our profilers have done 150 pairs of cores with no issues.
