Hey COsurfer, I also live in denver, and can't find a carbon supplier, who are you using? Also I think that the vertical pieces of carbon could be eliminated. But if it works, why screw with a good product

has anyone ever used ONLY carbon fiber? Would that make the ski way to stiff? What are the main properties of fiberglass, since CArbon Fiber adds pop and snap?

That makes a lot of sense. Would kevlar add any interesting aspects. What does kevlar do to a ski besides making it stronger?

I was thinking of carbon fibering the crap out of the whole ski, do you think carbon fiber in the tip would be a better thing, or neutral? I figure it will need to pop like a son of a gun, and be pretty stiff. Do you think a layer of metal under the topsheet would give it a good stiffness?

Can anyone tell me how narrow a ski can be and still be mounted with modern bindings? Or how close to the edge of the ski can the binding screws be?

mogul specific skis

Does anyone know good specs for a mogul specific ski? I have looked at brands like K2, Volkl, and Moment who all have mogul specific skis, and am curious if anyone here has tried. Thanks

What is a good type of press to make for inexperienced ski makers? Without sacrificing a lot of integrity of the ski? Thanks for your thoughts

Does anyone have a killer plan or idea for making a cassette for pressing? If you have pictures and a sweet design I would love to slightly copy your great idea. Thanks
