Thanks! I had actually seen it done on skis before but never a snowboard so that's why I was curious. My sidewalls aren't quite wide enough for staples so drywall tape will have to do unless somebody else has suggestions

Tip spacer only tip and tail

Im getting ready to press my first board soon and i feel like it would be easier to cut off the tip and tail of my board and just use tip spacer than have to cut the spacer around my core. my only concern is that it would be too soft and have way too much give. any advice would be great. also, i pla...

Biax and Triax fiberglass in one

Im getting to the point now where i will be ordering my materials. I was curious if for a 156cm snowboard, would having all triax be too stiff? it is going to be a park/freeride board so i dont want it to be too stiff or soft. If i used triax on the bottom and biax on top, would that be good or woul...

ive read a post somewhere on this site(cant remember which) that said 2.5cfm should be about the lowest, but will work. it will take longer to completely evacuate the air from the bag as was said earlier in this thread

I'd still like to get it because it comes with the cord, valves, etc... And I'm lazy 8) I would get a different pump if this one used oil. From the looks of it oil is expensive and not too much fun to deal with

I doubt it will break too. It also has a 1 year warranty so I'm not worried. I'll be sure to let everyone how it goes when I press my first board

Thanks guys! I agree it is expensive but I would like something to last until I eventually get a real press. Plus this ones oil-less. I'm sure I can turn my press off some of the time if I have a good seal like you said
