Yes, the skis look great, but... that countryside is sooo beautiful. How wonderful it must be to be able to take in those views everyday. I can almost hear the birds singing and the bees buzzing. You're a fortunate guy, indeed. Any chance of seeing some pics of the inside of the of the barn/ski fac...

You can make any profile you want, Bourquein. If you don't count cnc this is probably one of the the most precise ways to profile a core.

He was one of few people that became a true legend while alive,
for shape-geeks like my self he is closer to a god.

I had hoped to meet him once, during one of his trips up here (ski basing), but it never happened.

I will be thinking about that for a wile.

å kjøpe stålkanter fra usa er helt meiningsløst, alt blir produsert i europa uansett. om folk er i oppdalstraktene kan de komme innom meg og kjøpe med seg i små mengder.

you can make the cassette from 3mm mdf on a thin metal sheet.

cassettes are the only great way, it will stop the base from warping. just make the walls of the cassette so high that they support the core.

the aluminum is not the problem, fibreglass is the killer.

The skis will harden for a week. When they come out of the press, just decamber them with spacers between the tip areas and a clamp in the binding area for a week after you take it out of the press.
