So I can't really tell you how they sk...

[quote=

Btw a 10mm waist with a 3 mm tail is likely going to be a noodle with a very stiff tail. Thickness changes in the order of a couple tenths of a mm will be noticeable both in hand flexing and performance[/quote]

Would 2.5 mm 13mm 3 mm make more sense for an all mnt/pow ski?

So I made my core in snocad and brought it in to a drawing program flipped it horizontal and started at the thinnest point with 2 in gap and worked my way through the core and ended with this. I plan on fine tuning it some more and then all I have to do it ...

The flooring works fine. Get it. Or drop cash and get 4x8 sheets of the vertical grain . Teregan, smith and mong. Etc, etc. unless you buyin a few cubic meters directly from china. It's not cheap. 100 bucks for a box of flooring. 3 sets pow skis, or like 150-200 for a 4x8 sheet of the same stuff. S...

If you look at the bottom of the page, the actual dimensions are 1 x 5 ". That stuff looks like it has a lot of voids just like most plywood. I would stay away from it. Ok, well were do you guys get bamboo? I have been looking all over for wide bamboo flooring and all I have found is the snap ...

Buying one plank of bamboo for 4 skis. You've got to factor in the kerf. Thin kerf ripping blade is around 1/8&...

Ok just downloaded sketch up, so go easy on how bad this draw up is. But this is the idea I'm working with. The inside of the box with a support in the middle that has air holes drilled in it. Make it air tight by using plumbing sealant along the seams, inside and outside. http://i42.tinypic.com/2dh...

http://lh4.ggpht.com/_AkyZTaMWHzs/TJZzdhcb6fI/AAAAAAAACMY/awlxTJX3BQA/s400/CIMG1259.jpg Ok I see that the vacuum pumps from under the table instead of making a hole through the pu or silicon. I might be taking that road because after making a few pairs and having some bad luck with the holes throug...
