Great pics, great skis ! Is there any info around here about how you did your graphics ? I'm looking into alternatives to sublimated graphics... I've been dealing with Miller Studio and their service is great however the prices increased a lot for single topsheets (especially on Nylon)... I can't ke...

Thanks for all that info guys, a couple details on my process : I don't do the edge rabbet (Yeah Montucky, I know that's the devil :p), reason for that is I used to do it and got convex bases. I suspect the carbon strip I use in my layup is the culprit for that... anyway I get a good flatness out of...

base sander / belt grit
Hi all, I finally found a shop in town that doesn't mind doing the initial base grind on my freshly pressed skis. The guy is open to suggestions to dial-in the way he does it so I can get the best result. It's a new shop, friend of a friend, he bought used machines recently so not much experience in...

Oh nice ! What's the difference between the Smooth-Cast 300 serie and the 320 serie ? What product do you use to seal the wood core before pouring the PU ? I tried with one coat of polyurethane varnish with not much sucess (I was using Smooth-Cast 326 and had some bubbling, not much.. but too much) ...

One key feature of the real prepreg (not the DIY you can make) is the control you have on how the resin flows while curing under pressure. Low flow with regular hardeners makes for poor fabric impregnation in our world. DIY prepreg have its advantages though (more control on the resin-to-fabric rati...

Well the stuff sold by snowboardmaterial is preCURED fiberglass, not prepreg. Prepreg is basically the fabric + just the right amount of resin but the curing reaction is thermically stopped by storing it @-20C. The impregnated fabric is then rolled and stored until it's used. It's a process that req...

Looking for white Nylon topsheet
Looking for a few meters (4 or 6m) of white Nylon topsheet with no fleece (sanded one face).
This will be sublimated, I usually order from Miller but they don't have any left, they only have the white nylon with fleece right now.
Thanks !
Ben

In order to account for the blade offset you have to make/use a script which adds corner action for sharp corners + modifies the curves following this principle : http://math.ucsd.edu/~ebender/87/bicycle.pdf I've been lucky enouch that someone already worked on such a script for my CAM software... h...
