Let the 2013/14 building begin!
We're off and rolling this year, prepping cores, bases and designing some new graphics. Just ordered up some of the new Duravision topsheet from Crown Plastics to give it a try and ready to go to the next level. After 4 years of solid building, 27 boards done, and 3 years of product testing, we're r...

Time to start building again...
Hope you all had a good season, just cleaned the shop and getting ready to build some boards for this year and I'm curious about using some different materials. Planning on making a few of the All Mountain boards with the standard core setup (poplar/aspen with oak sidewalls) but looking to add somet...

Anyone interested in some cores?
Were not quite ready to start selling our boards yet but thought I ask to see if anyone is interested in purchasing some cores, built to your specs? We typically build ours from 1" wide strips of poplar, using ash stringers and plane them to 7mm. Strip size, material and thickness can all be ad...

Thanks, Ill give it a try. Ive been using foam PVC or wood for my sidewalls so far because they are easy to bond together. The foam PVC is a great material to work with and very water resistant but it isn't that strong and gets damaged easy especially in the lift line when everyone is jockeying for ...

I use 20oz triax on the bottom layer below the core and 17oz biax on top of the core with a 6oz eglass as my topsheet, that's what I've been going with on my last few all mountain boards and it has been working pretty well. Haven't tried using triax on top yet but after reading the posts, Im gonna g...

How do you get Durasurf sidewalls to bond?
Im trying using some durasurf sidewall material and I have tried every glue I can find (including epoxy) to get it to bind to the core but it just peels right off. What is the trick? Does it need to be flamed first before gluing?

Third try is the charm... introducing Chair2 Snowboards
OK, guess Im either worthless at using forums or just not cool enough yet cause I keep getting errors. Anyway, we are making boards up in Fall City, Wa. under the name Chair2 Snowboards, inspired by all of you that build out there and learned everything from your great instructional websites, readin...
