I had same thought. Especially if using wood sidewall… It doesn't look right together imo. Last year at last minute I substituted p-tex TS for wood and very happy with results but after all it was tip spacers. This year I'm doing full wood core no spaces. My only concern because I can't profile tip/...

First of all, I'm an electrical idiot. ..... I am getting confused. My initial thought was to get a 220v 2400 watt blanket. Is this in line with what others are using? I don't think you're going to find consensus on blankets size. Everybody done differently and blankets ranges iirc from 1300W to 35...

Max Seal didn't work for me also. However it best product I worked with as far working with it. No small, drying fast and looks nice. Unfortunately I didn't find it durable enough, self leveling also is a problem, shortly after starts peeling very easily.

Try searching the forum. This has been discussed before. For me doing graphics on paper didn't work at all. Way to little durability and they didn't bond with topsheets. However, others such as amidnightproject have successfully used paper in their skis. thx I couldn't remember who did it. I'll che...

graphics on paper

up until now I done graphics using cotton and paper only for logo. Thinking to try full graphics on paper. It looks like paper saturated with epoxy well but I done only small pieces.

And you thought how graphics on paper will work?

Maybe the tip part on the widest point is not contacting the snow when sking normally? If you make a drawing with these numbers center of radius will be quite back of ski center? It is. I did a design last night, and did some measurements and found the narrowest part of the ski is 15cm back from th...

So what are your thoughts? I think you are going to right direction. It's only so much can be done. I done similar what you are trying to do only as a spots repair in areas of most abuse. In my case sidewall got chiseled out from under top layers. You can mix sawdust with your choice of a epoxy to ...
