Is that all they have is base or other stuff also? VDS? Have you thought about scrounging ion the Haberkom(SP) dumpster? afaik thats all they have left :( i'll see if i can get more insight into their stock...maybe sth usable comes up. haha, yep...asked them if they'd give away their waste...no cha...

havent tried putting a topsheet on in a second press cycle. not worth the hustle imho. we'll just go with cotton fabric printing instead. and if the PU-infusion works well, we won't need a topsheet.

topsheets wont stick to laser or inkjet printed paper. we did a couple of test samples and you could always peel the topsheet off easily.

just talked to them. one full roll minimum order. that's 400m of p-tex!
they told me that they get their bases from Germany, so I'm pretty shure they just buy the CPS/Gurit stuff.

I have an offer from CPS for 500m of high transparency sintered base 330mm width for 6,17 EUR/m.

I think I am going to cut out the damaged section, and the corresponding section in the other binding areas and replace them with sections of core stock oriented width wise instead of lengthwise. nope, thats just the gantry beam length.
