regular paper doesn't stick to the topsheets, so if you want to go that way, you'll have to press without a topsheet and apply some UV-resistant clear coat. mind you need a printer that supports roll paper! (i'm using an Epson 2100...great printer! and very lightfast inks) we're planning on printing...

i guess the reason why nobody answered is that your crib design depends on many different factors such as ski length, width and most important the profile YOU want.

btw, what do you mean by 3500mm radius?

what you need isnt just a bearing, but a bit with a bearing called flush trim router bit.

i think using grade 8 or higher bolts should do the trick for your press frame.

that last photo, is that a crash or was it a controlled jump? you caught quite some air ;)

considering your wood config...i always thought people put in one strip of harder wood next to the sidewalls to get the best edge hold. correct me if i'm wrong.

I'm using the uni's big ass bandsaw and thicknesser to do the cores, then stealing the CNC again for the profiling, shape and insert holes. My 4th yr project is on snowboards, so I can use the uni equipment basically as much as I want as long as it's project related. I'm using Tasmanian oak insert ...

yep, we're using the SR8500 / SZ8525 combo. gotta love that stuff! 20min. cure time at 90°C rocks.
