As I said, I do have 300m of 155mm (6.1") Ask Asher Sheet we would be willing to let go for $2.67/m, plus no shipping from Europe. It is in (2) 150m rolls. We're super busy right now so I would prefer to not have to break it up ourselves, but if people really wanted and the quantities were larg...

Not sure what the minimums are on wider stuff, can't remember but we are usually only ordering around 450-600m of it at 6" wide (we've cut the amount of 6" stuff we've been using by 2/3 since our first year, as it proved unneeded). Hi Iggy. You were using the 6" wide stuff originally...

DBS/Iggy: Staples inside or outside the layup? The way I am doing it at the moment I don't think I have enough sidewall excess to fit a staple that would end up outside the layup. You could do it either way. For production skis, staple is outside and cut off with flash. For certain prototypes witho...

I have a roll or two of excess VDS I might be willing to part with. 150m Long 0.2mm Thick 155mm Wide Ask Industries Asher Sheet Black (gray) It is a bit different material than the haberkrom stuff. Bit stiffer feeling, handling during layup is a bit different. But works the same. We used it on about...

I was wondering if you fabricated that whole press yourself, or had someone do the frame for you? It is Impressive!

Pretty stoked to go from building in my single car garage just a few years ago (summer of 2008).... To getting our 2011/2012 Caylor selected as one of Powder's Skier's Choice Draft picks... And our 2011/2012 Wrenegade picked as one of Freeskier's Editor's Choice. Been a crazy few years, and it is ev...

I will just leave this here. Hope it helps. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a382/iggyskier/2011-07-26_01-36-35_9.jpg My 2 cents... 1) Anything that holds down the camber is a pain in the ass to build and use. Much, much easier ways to account for camber. 2) Finding bits with the correct angle is a...

QCM Update

Just FYI. Figured I would just start a new thread - looks like they found someone else to pick up QCM production. No idea how they will do handling small orders. If I hear anything else from Greg, I will update this thread.

I also have an issue with manufactures putting the carbon stringers on top of the core - pure marketing move. The stringers are more effective underneath the core as it will put the fibers in a greater tensional loading. I've prototyped a lot of skis with all sorts of configurations. No carbon, car...
