Aprés Ski for Skis

Skiis like drinking too! Cook'n some Fishstix. Just updated my hotbox with my newly learned SB information on PID's. I went with a ramp/soak type so I could control the duration and cooldown period. One hotbox treatment is comparable to 20 iron waxes. 2-3 cycles, hot scraping and brushing in between...

I'm up over the hill in Incline Village. I was at the PM shop last year. I would like to see how a ski gets laid up. Do you ever let visitors in?

The main plastic used in dye sublimation is called FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic).
How about iron transfer directly onto the fiberglass. It would be a little grunge but it might apply itself for certain designs.

How about the above drawing but like brodo says have a set of differenct thickness planed spacers that you could drop into the different locations to create the shape of the crib. Once you dial in the shape you want, attach the spacers together accross the length of the crib creating a comb-like jig...

Alder cores anyone?

Has anyone ever used Alder. It's used alot up here at Lake Tahoe. I have a friend who owns a cabinet shop and has a lot of drop of clear lying around which would be nice to not see go to the dump or up a chimney. Here's some data for your consumption http://www.cloudberryfurniture.com/english/alder....

I really like where this is going. I'm getting close to building a profiler and I've always thought this was the best option. I look forward to seeing an example with the spacers.

Cheers!

Don't you LOVE this stuff. I just spent the last week learning about PID's, SSR's. Didn't even hit the radar that the blanket hookup wouldn't be straight forward. I look forward to reading someones input.

Got snow up on the peaks this last week. It's coming fast!
