I have bought pre bend edges..It takes me more than one hour to bend the pre-bend edge to fit the bottom. One the otherhand I bend the tail part not pre bend in 10 minutes.

Now I bend the pre-bending to strait and then bend again.. in 30 min I bend the complete edge. I use nippers, easy and fast.

If I make a ski woth only GF 760 gtriax on top so that woof shows trough, will this give good surface if I use this https://www.skibaumarkt.de/produkt/lochfolie/ on top. Maybe the tip part on the widest point is not contacting the snow when sking normally? If you make a drawing with these numbers center of radius will be quite back of ski center?

Vacuum should easily bend your wood cores. Unless you prebend your cores they will not lay flat in your mold and make your layup and alignment more difficult. They will also add some internal stress, trying to straighten out inside your ski. This is one reason why people use tip spacer. sam thanks ...
