heat differential do not working too well or consistently for me. Even when heating almost exclusively from the bottom I'm getting no more than couple millimeters of camber in zero camber mold… Maybe I shouldn't put carbon fiber next to the core.

Thanks. Working on removing the bearings. I'll get the bearing either from SVST or from Dave. Also I googled the bearing and can probably get them from another source if I need too. bearings usually generic. Once you get it out. You can show it in any machine shop supply which sell them and they co...

wood sidewall or sidewallless

I've been using wood sidewall. Every time making the core I'm questioning is it necessary...extra steps ... cut and glue sidewall.... extra template to make. It's a lot of work and I'm not sure if it necessary.
The only benefit I can see is sidewall is one single piece of wood

you don't need to build controller. Line voltage thermostat can be used to control blankets… I'm using those without any problems.
Simple to set up, simple wiring… Inexpensive. Can be wired for 110 or 220… 16 A in 110; 8 A in 220. Comes with T.C. ..... What else can I say practically plug-and-play

for snowboard you don't need the bridge. for skis, if you have power feed, bridge can be easily made from 2 x 4 and plywood

when started I bought some uhmw sidewall. To minimize risk of delamination process. I decided to use wood..... uhmw still sitting in the corner unopened

one of my skis with IPE sidewall got over 100 days in two seasons without any problems for maintenance

I think you need seriously rework the press construction.in current form outright scary. not designed to take a lot of pressure
Also in one of the pictures you have five bolts holding two firehose?????????????? where only one bolt in the middle of each fire hose imo this is not enough

1.3mm is definitely not going to be too stiff.
I can't profile taper into flat section… 1.3 at the very tip make definitely over 2 mm thickness in the area where I used to start spaces
