We are not exactly talking about a tight structure here. It will be drafty for sure. I'll also have a window or 2 and a whole house exhaust fan to work with. Insulating the roof is a good idea since It will be a metal roof. I know I can't keep solvent soaked rags enclosed. I was more worried about o...

heating ski workshop

I'm building a workshop for my ski production. What types of precautions do I need to think about when heating this space? It will be an uninsulated 12x 20 shed workshop. I was thinking about a small wood stove but I'm not sure about having a wood fire in a shop with epoxy fumes. Is there an issue t...

I also got some free trampoline spring to suspend the cat track and bladder. I have not hooked that part up yet. I'm in the process of building a workshop for my operation. I'm hoping to have skis built by mid-October. After that it will likely be too cold as I don't have heat in my shop and do not ...

if you are good you can get some stuff really cheap or free. My cat track is made from broken hockey sticks. It was free. I just had to call about 5 rinks and get any broken stick they had. Hockey sticks are all exactly the same size in the shaft 1.25 x .75. I used the 1.25 dimension in most of the ...

Just bought a sweet 5.5 gal compressor at Lowes. I tested my bladder tonight. Bladder holds well needs 1 small leak fix. Some RTV silicone should fix it.

picked up some top bearing straight router bits for sidewall profiling for $8 each on Amazon.
Starting work on building my workshop this weeknd

if the gouge is right on the edge it won't bond well at all. You'll either need to epoxy that or cut out a section with a razor blade and replace it with a spare piece of the same material epoxied in place. Then sand flat as needed.

edit: exactly as in the above link. I did not look first...
