So the ski had less camber and more rocker. From my experience its more about what side reaches the resins glass trans temp first. If its the bottom, more camber if its the top, more rocker. The carbon is definaetly a shinkage deal. Always the most rocker and camber, thats why you have to cure it to...

That might make sense but then why do my carbon skis have twice the camber as my glass skis. I have to cook top heavy by 25 degrees f to get normal camber in my carbons.

I know this has been an issue before with other larger makers when metal is added.
I would only do one layer with an asym layup and .6mm sounds mighty thick but I dont really know.

Or buy some 45/45 biax (double bias) and use that on the 0/90 orientation...
Or lay up the tow on a 45/45 woven with fiberglas tape and use that 0/90 or do a backflip.

You coild orient the plain weave on the bias and use the tow on the 0. Woild be like triaxial 45/45 0.

The less resin in the laminate the stiffer the board will be.
Pressing at room temp means you evacuate more resin during the cycle making the fiber to resin ratio leaner.

Sd. I would be willing to bet that would not work to profile core. It would get clogged super quick.the belts on those over head sanders are like 4 feet in diameter.

Max seal works. Best I. Very thin layers and aplied very quickly. While its tackly aply another coat. It sticks any surface confaiminats make it peal.
