You should do some light sanding and cleaning of the channel before pouring next time Thanks for watching and your comment. Yes, did a light sanding but a fact that this can be pulled out easily is scary... The reason why I tried to pull it out is a 2nd test: bonding with epoxy. It did not bond at ...

Smooth on PCM-790. Great but expensive. I dyed this stuff with like 2 drops of blue tint. I've sourced some different product in Canada now for almost half as much. Though we will need to buy a larger quantity. Hi everyone Two weeks ago I've tried the above for kite board rails with a bamboo core. ...

Re: mastic tape
Hi folks, I have been trying to find some mastic tape to seal when vacuum bagging. Everywhere I go people look at me like I am speaking some strange language when I ask for it here in Australia. Does anyone know what other names it could be called or what its originally designed to do? Any other su...

Help with identifying this glassing process
Hi all! I've been building my boards for some time now and always looking for new and interesting ideas. Found the German manufacturer - Carved, with an interesting pattern on the wood and hoping you can identify what that might be? They are laying some kind of webbing here: http://boardbuilders-for...

Thanks chrismp. That apex brand supplies the son of the guys who grind my skis here in Australia. Their son is Alex Pullin, former world boarder cross champion. He gets the boards shipped over here and structures them before going out on the comp season! Hm, I wonder if Apex are the same guys makin...
