My tipspacers are about 120-140 mm long. If you make long soft rocker tips a full wood core works nice. Depending on how you your ski tips look you can adjust the length. Tipspacers just protect your tips and make it easier to bend when pressing. This is my plan, this profile with solid maple core ...

Solid maple core for rocker ski.

Has anyone ever used a solid maple core? Or any other wood for a solid core with out any stringers if so how did it turn out? Been thinking about this, what do you do when you have a long low profile rocker? Do you just make the tip spacer really long? I'm working on a pair right now they will be my first pair with a long rocker and in SnoCad they have a huge tip spacer length at 358mm. Has anyone else come across this pro...

Nice thanks, I changed my oil in my old one every time I used it so maybe like 5 times live and learn. Im hoping my old tubing will fit on whatever i get.
