Awesome video and super clean board. That will be a sweet gift. Thanks for sharing.

I don't think I have heard of PVC sidewalls. How do they hold up? Am I missing something here? PVC seems too brittle to me.

Powderho nice looking skis. Would you be willing to post a pic of the profile with the skis touching bases? I like to see the tips, camber and tails you have designed as they look sweet. Can you also say a little more on the tip shape and design?

we pressed 1 pair of skis in a cloth press with 2 - 8" hoses without any problems (until the crappy duck cloth shredded and the press exploded). I think you will be okay if you design the cloth press correctly. Don't have any sharp corners. That was my problem.

I way have missed it but is your heat blankets okay? Almost everybody ruins a pair or a board at the beginning, but blankets are $$$. The different wood in the laminated core looks pretty sweet I think.

I am up in Boulder but would like to try and meet up. I will ask my brother if he is interested as well. We have been skiing at Loveland the past couple years. We haven't been building skis in a while but always thinking of what to do next. Richie ~ I might take you up on that the next time I fly do...

looks like a nice board. What is the veneer? I am jealous of the CNC you have. Our machinist at work just got a 3 axis Fadal mill but the table is not long enough to do anything ski related. The machine is so fast it is scary...

What light do you use for night riding? I recently bought a Magicshine and it is pretty nice. I am with you guys on the nice flowing singletrack but I thought this was pretty crazy and worth a watch.

3mm would completely stop our planer. I think you are going to like that planer once you dial it in. Sounds like a freakin' sweet machine.

Nice press and cat track. How much does the press "frame" weight (roughly)? Are you going to do cordura?

how big is the point on the exclamation point pressing on the material? The deflection of 1/2" under 146,000lbs might boil down to a very small psi which would be bad. If the area was 1 square inch then this might work out for you. Sounds like you are learning a lot and getting to play with som...

Are you going to run 220V anywhere for big tools/heat blankets or keep to 110V? I don't regret insulating our garage at all.

The bloodwood looks similar to the paduk we have used. The skis look sweet. Is bubinga pricey? We finish our veneer skis the same way you do.
